WHAT WE HELP WITHTherapy for the experiences that leave you feeling unseen, overwhelmed, or alone
You've Been Carrying This Long Enough
You may look like you’re functioning on the outside, going to work, caring for others, keeping up with daily life, while internally feeling exhausted, disconnected, anxious, or numb. Old wounds may still be affecting your relationships, sense of self, and emotional well-being in ways that are difficult to explain.
You may told yourself to just push through, minimize your pain, or believe you should be “over it” by now. But part of you knows that what you’ve been carrying deserves care, support, and space to be understood.
Therapy isn't about being broken.
It's about finally having a space that belongs entirely to you. No need to be strong, or okay, or even articulate. Just a place where you can slow down long enough to hear yourself think. To say the things you've been swallowing. To understand why you feel the way you do and begin, slowly, to feel differently.

WHO WE SUPPORTOnline Therapy In BC
EXPERIENCED | ACCREDITED | QUALIFIED THERAPISTS IN BRITISH COLUMBIAMEET AISHA
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Canadian Certified Counsellor with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, children, and families through anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship struggles, and major life transitions.
Many of the people I work with come in feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that feel hard to change. I offer a warm, grounded space where you can slow things down, feel genuinely understood, and begin to make sense of what you are carrying emotionally and relationally.
Together, we work with not only what you’re thinking, but also how your experiences are showing up in your body and nervous system. This helps create deeper awareness of patterns that keep repeating in relationships, self-worth, and emotional regulation. My approach is relational and somatic, supporting you in feeling more grounded, connected, and emotionally safe within yourself and your relationships.
If you have any questions and looking for support, I offer a free 20 mins consultation call, for us to chat further.
✔ Save Time and Energy
No need to rush to sessions, sit in traffic, or worry about parking. Therapy becomes easier to fit into your life.
✔ Convenient and Flexible
Sessions can happen between work meetings, during lunch breaks, or on days when childcare may not be available.
✔ Creative and Holistic
Therapy does not always have to happen sitting in front of a screen. Some clients choose phone sessions or even attend sessions while out for a walk (which is highly grounding and regulating for the nervous system!)
Why Online Therapy?
✔ And most importantly…We Work With Your Space
As trauma therapists, our goal is to help create a space that feels safe and regulating for you. Being in your own environment can support deeper therapeutic work, as we get to work with what you experience in your everyday life.
Whether that means sitting with your favourite blanket, having your pet nearby, or being in a familiar environment, online therapy allows comfort and safety to become part of the healing process.
Serving clients across British Columbia including Vancouver, Victoria, Surrey, Burnaby, Richmond, Kelowna, Kamloops, Abbotsford, Prince George, Nanaimo, Chilliwack, and all communities across BC. Online therapy means geography is never a barrier to getting support.

There are many different types of therapist that you can choose from. Before reaching out to a therapist, it’s important to know what issue you would like to work on. A tip is to seek out a therapist who specializes in the issue and problem you are facing with, instead of a generalist.
It is also important to decide what type of therapist you are looking for, such as gender, experience, their approaches to therapy, etc. It’s also a good idea to check with your insurance provider which type of therapist they cover. A lot of therapists offer free consultation calls for you to decide if they are a right fit.
At The Therapeutic Way, we specializes in relationship issues, relational trauma, narcissistic abuse recovery, and attachment wounds. We work with adults, couples, and families.

The type of therapy that is best for you, depends on you as a person and the reason you are seeking therapy. There are different types of therapy, such as somatic-based therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, trauma-informed therapies, holistic therapy, existential therapy, and more. The type of therapy that is right for you will depend what you are looking for. While you may have an input in this, majority of the time the therapist will know what is best suited for you and will let you know.
At The Therapeutic Way, we work with clients using an integrative approach to therapy, meaning using different modalities to suit your needs. We use a trauma-informed, holistic, and relational approach to working with you. Click here to learn more.

The term psychotherapy and counselling are often used interchangeably with some slight differences. Psychotherapy refers to the treatment based for psychological disorders and mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc. Counselling refers to wellness support and providing insights and clarity which leads to growth or personal betterment.

Online therapy is as effective as in person therapy. What is most important with any format of therapy is having a strong therapeutic relationship between you and your therapist. Online therapy is a good option when coming in-person is not feasible, when you have dependents at home, and it is also more convenient.
