What is EMDR?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a well-researched, evidence-based therapy originally developed to treat trauma and PTSD. It helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer feel as overwhelming or triggering. Backed by decades of clinical research, EMDR has proven effective not only for trauma, but also for anxiety, grief, phobias, and other emotional challenges — offering lasting relief where traditional talk therapy sometimes falls short.
