How I work and what this means for you

You may appear capable and composed on the outside while privately feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself. Perhaps work has become a constant source of pressure, you find it difficult to switch off, or your self-worth feels tied to achievement. You may also be carrying the effects of a painful relationship or traumatic experience that has affected your confidence, sense of safety, or ability to trust yourself.

I support adults navigating workplace stress, burnout, perfectionism, performance pressure, imposter feelings, and work–life imbalance. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked as an educator and spent several years in the finance industry, including as a Financial Planner. These experiences gave me firsthand insight into competitive workplaces, demanding expectations, and the quiet emotional toll of constantly feeling the need to perform.

I also support individuals healing from accident-related trauma and antagonistic relationships involving narcissistic abuse, emotional manipulation, gaslighting, coercive control, and chronic invalidation. These experiences can leave you questioning your perceptions, replaying conversations, or feeling responsible for another person’s behaviour. Even after the relationship or traumatic event has ended, your mind and body may continue to respond as though the danger is still present.

My approach is trauma-informed and tailored to your individual needs. I integrate CBT, ACT, mindfulness, attachment-focused and somatic approaches, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and EMDR-informed care. I have also completed specialized training in attachment and inner-child trauma, grief and complex trauma, emotional abuse, gaslighting, and narcissistic relationships.

My hope is that you leave our sessions feeling understood and empowered, with greater trust in yourself and practical tools you can use in everyday life. Healing does not mean erasing what happened-it means helping the past take up less space in your present so you can move forward with greater confidence, safety, and choice.
