How I work and what this means for you
When life presents us with challenges, we often forget that we do not have to face them alone. I am here to offer a space of compassion and empathy where you may talk openly about your struggles in a safe, non-judgmental space.
I specialize in relationship issues and relational trauma, with a particular focus on narcissistic abuse. I also work with childhood and attachment wounds, family estrangement, and mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, and burnout. My approach is client-centred and holistic, integrating psychodynamic, attachment-based, and mindfulness-informed interventions.
When entering a session with me, you can expect me and the space to be calm, grounded. I believe that positivity trumps everything, so I may offer some positive encouragement and perspectives. Because of this, I will also focus on your strengths, coping skills, and support systems throughout the process. As your therapist, you can expect me to be patient and realistic because I know that therapy takes time and effort, but is worth it in the long run. In the end, I hope you will feel capable of tackling future difficulties and hurdles with more confidence in yourself.
I want to give you the opportunity to lead the process and allow the flexibility of what suits your needs and goals in therapy. When life feels overwhelming or direction feels unclear, it can help to have someone alongside you, offering tools and perspective to help you regain your footing. I hope to be that steady support for you.
