Hi! I'm Anumeet.

How I work and what this means for you
I begin our sessions by creating a safe, confidential, and supportive space where you feel heard and respected. The sessions will be a place where you can speak your mind, be understood, and be supported on your path to healing. Whether you’re facing a difficult moment or simply want to better understand yourself, I will walk alongside you with warmth and empathy, providing tools and insights to help you move forward with confidence and clarity.
When we meet for your first session, we will talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to achieve, and how we can work together to support you. In the first few sessions, I want you to have a sense of where you want to be, and how we can get there. I will encourage you to have open and honest conversations with me without worrying how it may sound!
I take a holistic and relational approach when we work together. This means instead of just looking at the symptoms you are experiencing, I want you to feel better as a whole person- at the root cause. I use evidence-based theories as well as life experiences to support you. These could be setting healthy boundaries, regular emotional check-ins, rebuilding safety in relationships.
My Speciality
Therapy for Men
I also specialize in supporting men who are navigating relationship challenges, stress, emotional overwhelm, and recovery from narcissistic abuse. Many men are taught to handle stress on their own, stay strong, and push through even when they feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck. I offer a space to explore work pressure, relationship challenges, anger, shame, or emotional shutdown without judgment. My approach is structured, trauma-informed, and grounded, helping you build clarity, regulation, and stronger connections.
Therapy for South Asians
As a psychotherapist working with South Asian individuals, I understand the unique cultural, familial, and relational dynamics that shape our emotional lives and identity. Navigating challenges with partners, parents, in-laws, or within joint family systems can feel overwhelming especially when layered with expectations around duty, reputation, and gender roles. I offer a supportive and culturally attuned space to explore patterns such as narcissistic dynamics, boundary struggles, intergenerational conflict, and communication breakdowns. Together, we work toward building clarity, emotional resilience, and healthier relationships while honoring both your personal needs and cultural values.

I believe that my professional experiences working in India, Singapore, and Canada have strengthened my ability to provide service to people from various walks of life. Having lived in these countries including the United Kingdom oriented me about the values and belief systems of people from diverse cultures. I value my life experiences of immigration and minority-related and parental struggles. These have enhanced my arsenal to connect and understand persons in similar situations. But most importantly my personal journey has aided in adopting a non-judgmental and sensitive stance.
Fun Fact: I would like to think I am creative. I love interior designing, fashion and stitching. Yoga and walking are my go-to restorative practices!
Best Piece of Advice I received: Practice gratitude and be thankful for all in your life.
