When we grieve together, healing finds its way in.

There’s a quiet moment that comes after loss, when the world keeps moving, but you can’t. The chair at the dinner table stays empty. The message thread remains unopened. Or perhaps, it’s a loss no one else can see the end of a relationship that once felt like home, the self you used to be before life changed, or the future you imagined but never got to live.

At The Therapeutic Way, we understand that grief isn’t only about death, it’s about the ache of absence, the identity shifts, the unmet hopes, and the invisible wounds left behind after loving deeply or surviving harm.

That’s why we’re opening our doors to an ongoing Grief Counselling Group in 2026, a compassionate space where your story is met with gentleness, understanding, and the kind of connection that helps you breathe again.

This group therapy provides a safe space for you to find comfort, understanding, and healing after a loss through connection and shared support.

Who are we?

Smiling person with long dark hair, wearing a black and white patterned sweater, posing against a green background.

Our group therapy is not a place to “get over it.” It’s a place to move through grief and loss, one small step at a time, with others who understand what it means to wake up every day carrying both pain and persistence.

Through guided discussion, body-based awareness, and shared reflection, this group explores the many faces of grief:

  • The loss of a loved one, and the silence that follows.

  • The grief of a relationship that ended, leaving emotional echoes behind.

  • The loss of identity or purpose, after major life transitions.

  • The mourning of what could have been unfulfilled, unfinished, or unspoken.

  • Grieving the loss of a relationship- healthy or unhealthy.

Who Is This Group For?

This online adult-grief group therapy open to those who are 16+, experiencing any form of grief, whether your loss is recent or long-standing, visible or invisible. Whether it is a loss a loved one, a relationship, or a significant life change, you do not need to have the right words or even feel ready to share. You only need a small willingness to sit with what is real, and to let others sit beside you.
